Julie Harrah has been with the Hoosier Lottery since 2019, serving on the executive team and managing the Information Security Management System policies and procedures. This collection of policies is essential for maintaining the confidentiality and integrity of all information held by the Lottery.

In 2024, Julie took the lead in securing the ISO 27001 certification and the WLA Security Controls Standards certification. She dedicated countless hours to ensure that employees received thorough training on acceptable standards and that all aspects of the Hoosier Lottery's operations met or exceeded recognized control standards. Under Julie's supervision, the Hoosier Lottery has consistently received clean audits without significant findings.

Julie also finds innovative ways to make information security training enjoyable and memorable, incorporating Jeopardy-style quizzes and interactive team activities.

Before her tenure at the Hoosier Lottery, Julie worked as a Senior Information Security Analyst for the Indiana Department of Revenue. In this role, she managed user access to computer systems and implemented technical safeguards from the IRS, the National Institute of Standards and Technology, and the Defense Information Systems Agency.

Julie holds a Bachelor of Science in computer science from Purdue University and is a Certified Information Management Professional (CIMP).
