Lottery retailers face a dual challenge: optimizing sales and ensuring that their instant ticket display always reflects the store’s current ticket inventory.
Enter the Digital Menu Board solution from IGT. This software solution to drive digital menus is unlike any other in the industry. It works with just about any digital signage monitor on the market and is integrated with the lottery terminal application, making it easy for retailers to update their digital menu displays in real time.
Flexible, customizable, and hardware-agnostic, this solution inaugurates a new generation of lottery point-of-sale display technology.

Simplicity for Retailers
Unlike traditional display systems that can become outdated as ticket stock changes, the Digital Menu Board solution dynamically syncs with IGT lottery terminals, ensuring the digital player-facing menu always reflects a retailer’s current game inventory. And, because the solution is in tune with IGT terminals in the store, there is nothing to integrate and no need to go to an FTP site to find game images.
When retailers activate a ticket pack using the Digital Menu Board solution, IGT’s Open Retail functionality brings them directly to the terminal screen, where the new game is shown as available. A retailer simply drags and drops the game symbol into position based on the arrangement of the ticket bins behind the counter. With the push of a button, the system instantly updates player-facing monitors with the ticket art, price, and bin number.
It’s just as easy to unassign games: The display is fully responsive and will instantly rearrange the remaining games accordingly.
As well as streamlining operations for retailers, this solution makes it easy for players to view and choose games, be aware of new games as they launch, and avoid the disappointment of selecting a game only to be told that tickets are not available.

Flexible & Customizable
Retail setups vary widely, which is why IGT designed the Digital Menu Board for unparalleled flexibility:
Hardware Compatibility: Works with most digital signage monitors, regardless of size or configuration.
Customizable Layouts: Adapts to both portrait and landscape orientations, as well as the display of other lottery promotional content at the point of sale, including jackpot information for draw-based games.
Multi-Monitor Support: The Digital Menu Board solution can be connected directly to the terminal via hardwiring, or it can be driven by WiFi or Ethernet through the lottery’s network using IGT’s compact media player ShowConnect, which can drive the same display on multiple monitors within the store.
Additionally, IGT experts offer consultation to recommend optimal monitor sizes and placements tailored to each retailer’s specific setup.

Drive a Mini-Display for In-Lane
Recognizing the ongoing need to expand lottery points of sale, IGT developed the award-winning IGT LotteryLink™ product to make it easy to add in-lane sales. A small plug-and-play device, Lottery Link allows retailers to sell instant games and Quick Pick draw games directly from their existing point-of-sale systems, the same way they sell other consumer products — no software modification needed.
And with the means to easily expand in-lane sales comes the need for a way to showcase the available games. IGT recommends using the Digital Menu Board solution to drive a mini-display, showcasing a smaller selection of lottery tickets in limited in-lane spaces (see image).
Retailers can highlight all the tickets sold in-lane or focus on specific games, such as seasonal options or a family of games. It’s a smart way to raise awareness among consumers and help retailers make the most of the available space as they add more lanes.

The Menu is Always Fresh
Lotteries and retailers see the value of replacing plastic displays and other crowded, difficult-to-see displays of instant tickets with bright and attractive digital menus. IGT’s Digital Menu Board solution represents a fresh approach to managing and updating digital displays, setting a new standard for adaptability in modern retail environments.
