Reginald Dixon Appointed Secretary of the Florida Lottery

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (June 17, 2026) – Governor Ron DeSantis has officially appointed Reginald “Reggie” Dixon as the eleventh Secretary of the Florida Lottery, effective June 15, 2026.

Many of you have had the opportunity to work alongside Secretary Dixon throughout his time at the Lottery and, more recently, under his leadership as Acting Secretary. During that time, he has led with integrity, humility, and a genuine commitment to both our mission and our people. He has remained focused on strengthening our organization, supporting employees, and continuing the Lottery’s important work of maximizing revenues to enhance education in Florida.

This appointment marks an exciting new chapter for the agency. The Florida Lottery’s success has always been built by the dedication, talent, and hard work of our employees across the state, and Secretary Dixon recognizes and values the role each of you plays in advancing the mission every day.
