Concord, N.H. (August 11, 2025) – The New Hampshire Lottery broke its all-time record in money delivered to New Hampshire public education specifically from sports betting in Fiscal Year 2025 with a total of $39 million, surpassing its previous record of $37 million in Fiscal Year 2023, according to unaudited financial figures. New Hampshire Lottery players placed more than 27 million wagers throughout this past fiscal year, totaling more than $815 million. Both the number of wagers and the dollars wagered in New Hampshire increased nearly 9% from Fiscal Year 2024 to Fiscal Year 2025, helping to solidify the state’s ranking of third in the country in per capita state revenue from sports betting.

“We are extremely proud to have delivered a record amount of funding to support public education—maximizing revenue to support the students, teachers and schools of our state is what drives us every day."

“New Hampshire continues to be the sports betting hub of the northeast, and we just refuse to stop building on our success,” said Charlie McIntyre, Executive Director, New Hampshire Lottery. “We are extremely proud to have delivered a record amount of funding to support public education—maximizing revenue to support the students, teachers and schools of our state is what drives us every day. Together with DraftKings, we have established a sports betting system that continually engages our players here in New Hampshire and beyond, providing countless opportunities to get in on the fun and the excitement of sports betting—right on their mobile devices through the DraftKings app or at one of our state’s five DraftKings sportsbooks.”

Since the inception of sports betting in New Hampshire on December 30, 2019, Granite Staters have placed more than 107 million wagers totaling nearly $4 billion, which has generated more than $153 million to support public education.

The two largest revenue drivers for sports betting this past fiscal year were the Super Bowl and March Madness, where players wagered more than $27.5 million combined between the two events.

“Looking ahead, we are anticipating continued growth in mobile sports betting, as players get more comfortable with new offerings, including live betting opportunities, and as DraftKings continues to develop innovative new products that appeal to our players,” McIntyre continued. “We’re also anticipating increases in retail sports betting, particularly with the opening of The Nash Casino, which features a beautiful, two-story DraftKings sportsbook.”

The New Hampshire Lottery set the single highest monthly mobile sports betting revenue total in November 2024 when players wagered more than $75 million, generating a record $4.5 million in direct support for public education. With Thanksgiving NFL games spread out between Thursday and Friday, and with five Saturdays of NCAA football, players had maximum opportunities to get in on the sports betting action.

New Hampshire residents can download the DraftKings Sportsbook app to place wagers through DraftKings, the exclusive digital operator in New Hampshire. Sports fans can place bets on the DraftKings Sportsbook app via iOS and Android or online at Sportsbook.DraftKings.com.

Together, DraftKings and the New Hampshire Lottery take responsible gaming seriously and the state-of-the-art DraftKings app offers consumers a number of responsible gaming tools, including My Stats Sheet, a gaming tool that gives players the ability to assess, track and interact with their personal gaming states, as well as limit setting, cooling-off periods, and self-exclusion.
