Deadline Approaching: NCPG 2026 Call for Conference Presentations

WASHINGTON (December 3, 2025) – The National Council on Problem Gambling invites presentation proposals for the National Conference on Gambling Addiction & Responsible Gambling held on July 22-2024, 2026, in Nashville, TN. The National Conference on Gambling Addiction & Responsible Gambling brings together world-class presenters to deliver powerful and insightful messages about problem gambling and responsible gambling. The deadline for submissions is Friday, December 5.
Presenters and attendees will include professionals from many disciplines — behavioral health, social work, mental health and substance abuse, academic and commercial research, government agencies, regulatory bodies, media, as well as individuals in recovery and family members.
The National Conference on Gambling Addiction and Responsible Gambling is designed to provide attendees with training and experiences to:
Critically evaluate factors and conditions related to matters of problem gambling and responsible gambling. 
Gain knowledge on problem gambling from the perspectives of prevention, treatment, responsible gambling, regulation, and recovery. 
Become informed of the latest developments in problem gambling and responsible gambling fields. 
Learn about problem gambling and responsible gambling issues that are relevant to diverse populations. 
Discover methods and information that will help to advance wellbeing by minimizing harm from gambling problems.
NCPG expects the information that you share at the conference is for the benefit of attendee education and learning. Conference presentations are not an appropriate forum for product sales pitches or demonstrations. Selection Criteria
Each submission will be reviewed by a diverse panel of NCPG members representing a wide range of professional backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives within the problem gambling and responsible gambling field. Judges will evaluate each proposal based on the selection criteria outlined below.
Expertise – Evaluates how the presenter’s background supports the proposed content and how closely the session relates to problem gambling and/or responsible gambling.
Engagement – Assesses how the session fosters active audience participation and involvement.
Cutting Edge – Considers whether the content is new, innovative, or presented from a fresh perspective, and whether it has been shared elsewhere before.
Attendee Appeal – Measures how likely the session is to attract strong attendance based on its topic, presenter, and content.
Audience – Evaluates how well the content aligns with the intended audience’s needs, interests, and professional focus.
Application – Focuses on the degree to which the session provides attendees with useful, practical takeaways or actions they can apply after the session.
Special consideration will be given to submissions that include diversity, equity and inclusivity content.
