WLA Welcomes New Deputy Executive Director

LAUSANNE, Switzerland (January 19, 2026) – We are pleased to announce that the new WLA Deputy Executive Director, Lucile Goulard, will take up her role on 26 January, in our Lausanne head office. 

After working as legal counsel, Lucile joined the lottery and sports betting industry and built a strong and diversified career within FDJ United, as a lawyer for seven years, covering a wide range of fields, including international and intellectual property law. Over the following eight years she held successive positions as Head of International Data Analysis, Head of International Relations, Director of International Relations, and ultimately Director of International and European Affairs, demonstrating a deep expertise of legal and international strategic matters in our industry. We look forward to welcoming Lucile to the Team.  

We also take this opportunity to express our sincere gratitude to Lynne Roiter, for her exceptional dedication and service to WLA and our industry for over four decades. Lynne retired at the end of 2025, and we wish her the very best for the future.
