DENVER (October 1, 2025) – October marks Colorado Lottery’s Conservation Month! Join us for river cleanups, trail building, and more as we roll up our sleeves to pitch in and protect the places we all love.Â
Since 1983, your play has powered over $4.5 BILLION for the Colorado outdoors. We’re the only lottery in the world that gives back mostly to parks, trails, wildlife, open spaces, and recreation. Together, we’re keeping Colorado wild and wonderful!
Want to help out? Here are a few upcoming events:
Runyon to the Res Arkansas River Cleanup – Oct. 4
For the 7th year, Pueblo volunteers will team up with Colorado Parks and Wildlife, the City of Pueblo Parks and Recreation, and the Nature and Wildlife Discovery Center, to remove trash from this well-loved stretch of the Arkansas River. Â
Boulder Valley Ranch Trail Project – Oct. 18
We’re teaming up with Volunteers for Outdoor Colorado (VOC) and Boulder’s Open Space and Mountain Parks. Volunteers will make Boulder's trails stronger, safer, and more sustainable. Sign up here!
YOU make this possible! Every ticket you buy helps protect and enhance our greatest outdoor treasures.
So, Play On, Colorado — and join us this month in giving back to the places we all love
