General Accounting Coordinator, Hoosier Lottery
Since joining the Hoosier Lottery in 1994, Terri Dunn has been a steady and trusted presence whose work directly supports every employee in the organization. As General Accounting Coordinator, she oversees payroll, benefits and a wide range of HR-related processes – responsibilities that require exceptional accuracy, discretion and responsiveness.
Terri approaches each task with a calm and solutions-focused mindset, even in situations where employees may feel anxious or frustrated. She consistently provides timely, thoughtful answers to questions and always follows through to ensure issues are fully resolved. Her professionalism and steady demeanor have made her a go-to resource across the organization.
During 2025, Terri played a central role in the successful termination of the long-frozen Employees Pension Plan of the State Lottery Commission of Indiana. This effort required intensive coordination, clear communication with impacted employees, and meticulous data work with plan administrators. Her thoroughness and empathy ensured that employees felt supported and informed throughout a complex and sensitive process.
