Ohio Lottery Surprises 20 Ohio Teachers With $1,000 Classroom Wish List Awards

CLEVELAND (November 21, 2025) – The Ohio Lottery has announced the 20 teachers selected to receive up to $1,000 each to fund items on their Amazon Teacher Wish Lists as part of the Ohio Lottery's Giving Back Program. The 20 teachers were selected in a random drawing of all licensed K-12 educators in Ohio, with five teachers chosen from each of the state’s four quadrants to ensure fairness and statewide representation. The chosen teachers are:


  • Rachel Degeo, Asbury Elementary

  • Michelle de Groff, Horizon Science Academy Toledo

  • Eric Poorman, River Valley High School

  • Jacqueline McCammon, Hayes Intermediate School

  • Teacher from Edon Elementary School

  • Tonya Howard, Rothenberg Preparatory Academy

  • Kelly Sword, Miami Trace Middle School

  • Kelsey Dickey, Fairfield Local High School

  • Ginger Isaac, West Clermont Middle School

  • Brian Eggleton, Miami Trace Middle School

  • Samantha Dostall, Artemus Ward

  • Jon Foreman, Constellation Schools Parma Community High School

  • Matthew Ziemnik, Lewis F. Mayer Middle School

  • Wanda Martinez, Buhrer Dual Language

  • Amy Josef, Green Elementary

  • Angela Moyer, Pickerington Lakeview Junior High

  • Sarah Steele, St. Clairsville Middle School

  • Chelsie Wright, West Muskingum Middle School

  • Emily Hineline, Violet Elementary School

  • Tracy Hurn, Symmes Valley Elementary School
