“We know that food insecurity exists in Ohio, and we’re so happy that our Cash Explosion fans continue to help with their generous donations to the Facing Hunger campaign,” Ohio Lottery Director Michelle Gillcrist said, “Food insecurity is high, especially this time of the year, and these donations are making a difference.”
In June, the show teamed up with the Second Harvest Food Bank of the Mahoning Valley at Cash Explosion LIVE in Youngstown. Fans donated 1,913 pounds of food and contributed $454.00 to the campaign which resulted in 3,864 meals that were provided in the Mahoning Valley.
