Prizes between $600 and $10,000 can now be claimed on phones

TRENTON (October 30, 2025) –The New Jersey Lottery announced today that players in the Garden State can file claims and receive payments by using their mobile phones.

“This is just another step in our ongoing efforts to connect with players in their daily routines,” said New Jersey Lottery Executive Director James Carey. “It is crucial that we help players easily incorporate Lottery claims into their busy lives. An overwhelming majority of our players are on their phones. It is imperative that we provide them with a seamless digital experience. This will be similar to how we deposit checks into our banking accounts using our mobile devices.”

Players checking their tickets on the New Jersey Lottery app will be notified with an option for “mobile claim” if the prize is between $600 and $10,000. They will then be automatically directed on how to securely submit the claim and receive payment.

While the Mobile Claims process is a streamlined way most players can claim their prizes and receive payment, they also can claim prizes in other ways:

  • Fill out a claim form at any New Jersey Lottery retailer.

  • Download, fill out and print the claim form from the Lottery website. Staple the ticket to the claim form and mail the completed form along with the winning ticket to: New Jersey Lottery Claim Center, P.O. Box 041, Trenton NJ 08625-0041; Attn: Winner Support Services. Submitters should make a copy of the claim form and the tickets (front & back).

  • Drop off claim forms and winning tickets in person at the New Jersey Lottery Claim Center office, Lawrence Park Complex, 1333 Brunswick Avenue Circle, Lawrence, NJ 08648. A secure drop box is available. Claim forms are available at the office. Hours are Monday-Friday 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

  • For jackpot prizes and large secondary draw-game prizes of at least $20,000, request an appointment by calling 1-800-222-0996 between 8:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m.
