CONCORD, N.H. (February 10, 2026) – While the game didn’t go New England’s way, New Hampshire sports bettors got their first opportunity to bet on their hometown New England Patriots in the Super Bowl as they took on the Seattle Seahawks Sunday night (2/8). Granite Staters bet the Patriots would emerge victorious, with 80% of wagers on the game’s winner placed on the hometown team. New Hampshire bettors also bet heavily on a Patriots player to win Super Bowl MVP, with 45% of total MVP bets placed on Drake Maye. New Hampshire players wagered more than $9 million on this year’s big game.
“There’s nothing like watching – and betting – on your hometown team in the Super Bowl. The big game is always our biggest single betting event of the year and with our Patriots competing, this year was no different,” said Charlie McIntyre, Executive Director, New Hampshire Lottery. “As exciting as the game is to watch, I get even more excited thinking about how much money it generates for public education in the state. Each wager made on the Patriots, Seahawks, or any of the player props directly supports Granite State students and teachers.”
New Hampshire players won big alongside the Seahawks, as the most cashed in bets were on Rhamondre Stevenson or A.J. Barner to score a touchdown, both teams to score two touchdowns or on Mack Hollins to score a touchdown or have the most receiving yards.
The New Hampshire Lottery’s sports betting partner, DraftKings, also provides players with a wide array of live prop bets throughout the game. The most popular prop bets included Hunter Henry scoring a touchdown, Drake Maye or Jason Myers to win MVP and the coin flip landing on tails.
Since the inception of sports betting in New Hampshire on December 30, 2019, Granite Staters have wagered nearly $4.5 billion, which has generated $172 million to support New Hampshire public education.
