Implementation Specialist, Fishbowl Inventory
Connor Chubbuck has been an exceptional partner to the Florida Lottery during the implementation of the Fishbowl inventory management solution, a transformative initiative to replace Florida Lottery’s nearly 30-year-old Merchandise Inventory Control System with a modern platform tailored to the unique needs of the Lottery and state government operations.
Since the project's inception in June 2025, Connor has served as the lead implementation specialist, guiding Florida Lottery’s team through every phase of this complex transition. He took the initiative to develop a thorough understanding of the Lottery's operations, inventory structures, retailer interactions, and agency-specific processes, enabling him to configure and customize the system in ways that consistently exceeded expectations.
He also played a critical role in organizing complex inventory data, establishing user and security structures, streamlining workflows, and implementing mobile and scanning technologies that will significantly reduce paper usage and improve operational efficiency. As a result, the Florida Lottery is positioned to achieve a near-paperless inventory management process while enhancing productivity and strengthening field operations statewide.
Equally impactful were Connor's leadership and customer-focused approach. He trained and supported more than 50 end users throughout the transition, consistently demonstrating professionalism, responsiveness, and a collaborative spirit. His ability to build trust, solve problems, and maintain a positive project environment helped ensure a successful implementation and smooth organizational change.
Connor's contributions have had a lasting impact on the Florida Lottery's operations and future efficiencies. His initiative, expertise, integrity, and commitment to excellence exemplify the values embodied by the NASPL Powers Award. =
